Bibit announces PayPal link-up
PayPal has joined forces with payments services provider Bibit, the two firms announced yesterday.
Users of Bibit, a firm which installs and runs payment services for large businesses, will now be able to offer PayPal as an additional payment method for their customers.
This opens up the services provider to a much wider user base - with recent figures from PayPal showing that one in three Britons holds an account with them.
Users of PayPal can transfer funds direct from their bank account to retailers and other financial services firms without having to re-enter card details.
Ron Kalifa, managing director of Bibit, said: "Our aim is to be able to provide our customers with the most comprehensive and up to date payment solutions currently available."
Cameron McLean at PayPal added: "Enabling consumers to shop without ever having to retype or share their financial information, whether a credit card number or bank account details is becoming increasingly important with the growth of eCommerce and merchants are really responding to buyer demand."
