Broadband users 'not satisfied'
Over half of British broadband users are dissatisfied with their service, a new survey from a price comparison website has found.
According to uSwitch, around four million customers are unhappy with their broadband.
Moreover, 44 per cent of service providers now have more dissatisfied customers now than in the previous year.
Steve Weller at uSwitch commented: "Last year, consumers spent £31 million on phone calls trying to fix problems with their broadband, and over £11 million of this was wasted on hold waiting to speak to someone.
He added: "It's unacceptable that, when it comes to technical support, just two providers are managing to satisfy more than half of their customers."
The site surveyed over 11,000 broadband customers over the course of its research.
uSwitch also found that PlusNet is the service provider highest rated by customers - with Orange taking last place.
